Who We Are
We explore and develop new technologies, workflows, and software that will improve design, push boundaries, and solve problems in the architectural, design and construction industry.
We develop tools that impact our profession. We are architects, designers, business owners who understand what our industry needs and how the tools will be used on a day-to-day level. We don’t hire software developers who aren’t trained in design first - we all know first hand the problems we are trying to solve.

He currently teaches in the Graduate Architecture and Urban Design program at Pratt Institute and the Graduate Architecture Program at the University of Pennsylvania. He is passionate about changing architectural workflows to empower all members of the design process.
Michael Kipfer
Co-Founder
Michael is an architectural designer with an entrepreneurial spirit. He looks to improve the design process using technological innovations. He believes that great design is fueled by informed decision making. When everyone is on the same page, collaboration will increase and create a better outcome aesthetically, programmatically, and financially. Michael takes innovations formed by The Toolbelt Company and test drives them within his firms’ practice. By exposing these innovations into the real-world at an early state, the team gains valuable feedback that fast-tracks development and rollout of the The Toolbelt Company’s products.
